Zaytoon - Bukhara Region

My friends and I are traveling in Uzbekistan. This is the first restaurant we have visited in Bukhara. The restaurant is well decorated and the food is delicious. We love all the food we’ve ordered. The waitress is also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

Perfect from start to finish, visited at 3pm, lovely peaceful atmosphere, service was attentive but not overbearing, food was a really high standard. Would definitely come back!

What a great experience, we were amazed as we came through the door. The interior is beautiful, with a lot of care for detail. No wonder that is carried troughout the dishes. Everything is decorated wonderfully, and do not worry - the taste is just as great. We had the dip platter, falafel, grilled veggies - all amazing! Some dishes are a little more expensive, but still cheaper compaired to the city center and in contrast to those restaurants, here you will get a lot for that little extra money spend! We'd love to stop by again, if only we had more time!

We had a great time in here. The food, service, atmosphere and staff were all perfect. Reasonable pricing for that quality. We loved everything we ate. Definitely a must in Bukhara.

Amazing fusion restaurant combining the Middle Eastern cucine with the Mediterranean cucine. Amazing plates, plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Fast service and awesome stuff! Responsive and very professional! Reasonable prices for western standards. Just 2 km away from the Bukhara historical city centre. Highly recommended. Good for groups, families and couples. From the outside you wouldn’t give it a cent but inside a very cozy and wonderful atmosphere.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere was fantastic—warm, inviting, and well-designed, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the visit. The food, however, was just average. While it wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite live up to the high expectations set by the ambiance and service. Some dishes lacked seasoning or creativity, and while everything was cooked properly, nothing truly stood out. Overall, if you're looking for excellent service and a great dining environment, this is a solid choice. However, if food quality is your top priority, you might find it a bit underwhelming. this is by far the best restaurant I went to in all of uzbekistan. we’re vegetarian and they have so many good options. we had salads, hummus, eggplant dip, middle eastern quesadillas and different pita breads and I can recommend all of it. also the atmosphere is really nice and the server spoke perfect english!

If you are a bit tired of Uzbek food than this is the perfect spot. We were recommended this place by fellow tourists and it was great. It serves up more Middle Eastern cuisine like falafel and dips with excellent pittas and manakeesh. We taxi’ed to and from the restaurant using Yandex which was very cheap from the centre. The food was excellent, the service was great, they spoke good English, WiFi was good, no complaints. Our favourite dish was the muhamara (red peppers and walnuts) dip. Portions were smaller than in most Uzbek restaurants so we ended up re-ordering. We paid just under 500,000 UZS (28 GBP) for the meal which included drinks.
